Youth & Crisis preparedness Survey

Hi! My name is Cecilia, and I’m a Master’s student at Linköping University. If you’re 18–30 years old and living in the EU, I’d love to invite you to take part in this survey for my thesis:  Exploring Youth Perspectives on Climate Preparedness Across Europe: Implications for EU Governance

🔎 What this study is about
This survey is about how young people understand preparedness for climate-related hazards, things like floods, heatwaves, wildfires, storms, or droughts. Preparedness can mean different things to different people. Here, I’m interested in what it means to you.

Last year, I participated in the Youth Policy Dialogue with the European Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management. It made me wonder: what if more young people, with different backgrounds and lived experiences, had the chance to share their views? This survey is one way of opening up that conversation.

💡 Your voice matters
By sharing your views, you help show how diverse youth across the EU understand and imagine climate preparedness. Together, these voices can support strategies that are more inclusive and that reflect the realities of young people.

🙏 Practical info
The survey is anonymous, takes around 10 minutes, and your participation is completely voluntary.
